I edited just a few minor things on what you did. I don't think we need full lesson plans, the project ideas should work. I went through the rubric and here is what we still need to cover:
The ORIGINAL presentation includes a rationale andinformation about the inquiry/research process presented (Would our rationale be our slides describing why you should use Big6/advantages? if so, do we need to make it more clear that that is our rationale?) yes. we've got the information covered. we don't adress why Big6 over the other models (ratinale) that would fit nicely as slide 3, after introduction and before indiv steps are defined. Some mention of the chart comparisons, as they take final shape. why we chose to use the Big6?
The content of the presentation establishes relevance to the target audience and presents it in a persuasive manner. (I think we have established relevance, but I'm not sure that she would consider this to be presented in a persuasive manner. What do you think? How can we make it more persuasive?) we could challenge existing methods, ask the audience if their established way of teach is preparing the students for real life? intro slides with pictures of 'bored kids' and conclude with pics of 'engaged kids' investigating their problems.....
[The presentation tool] adds an especially persuasive element to the work. (I'm not sure I'd say our PowerPoint adds an especially persuasive element. I think we need to add something that does (i.e. a short video))supposing sans video, maybe ERIC can provide some hard data for us. i'll look tmw.
At least five such works were cited. (I only have four works cited so far though we have more on our KWLQ page. We need to find a way to incorporate at least one more source; maybe if we find a short video we can cite that and kill two birds with one stone) yes work smarter not harder. our final citation will adress the video (perhaps one more if we have music. how long music clip? what kind music?), i'd prefer to embed the video if we can, or a clip anyways. this is a challenge. if nothing, can cite it and link it.
Overall, we are very close to being done! Let's work on the above elements and knock this thing out! Here is the newest PowerPoint with additional changes (should we delete the older ones to avoid confusion? she may want to see evidence of progress. thinking about it, i say move older versions down the page. we can always change our mind closer to friday as we clean it up for submission):
